In mid-July, the Sustainability Unit along with ICBC (Asia) Charitable Foundation enjoyed a family day event at the HKFYG Jockey Club Organic Farm, attracting about 50 youth and family participants from ONE ICBC Social Service Team. Despite the temperature soaring above 30°C on the event day, the summer heat couldn’t dampen anyone’s enthusiasm! In response to sustainable development, we are honoured to be invited by ICBC (Asia) to participate in their recent Family Fun Day. Alongside our passionate green startup partners Dress Green and Carbon Linking, we inspired youths and their families to embrace sustainability! Through upcycling workshops, youths have learned creative eco-practices, transforming recycled materials into adorable bowties or turning food waste into paw-shaped NFC (Near-field communication) keychains, reducing waste and alleviating the burden on landfills.
