Let’s celebrate! The inaugural Campus Decarbonisation Ambassador Programme Awards Ceremony

Congratulations to All Campus Decarbonisation Ambassadors!
The inaugural Campus Decarbonisation Ambassador Programme Awards Ceremony was recently held last week at the HKFYG Jockey Club Organic Farm, recognising the outstanding carbon reduction efforts and leadership of over 200 students from 14 schools over the past year. Heartfelt congratulations to the award-winning schools:
Sing Yin Secondary School: Gold in Eco-action Champion Award & Low Carbon Diet Campus Award
Chinese Y.M.C.A. Secondary School: Silver in Eco-action Champion Award
St. Paul’s College: Bronze in Eco-action Champion Award
St. Stephen’s Girls’ College: Smart Campus Energy Award

Since launching the Youth Decarbonisation Platform in 2023, we have encouraged young people and students to record their daily carbon reduction actions, helping them gradually develop low-carbon lifestyles. To date, the platform has successfully reduced over 2.7 million kilograms of CO2—equivalent to the annual carbon absorption of approximately 110,000 trees!

2025/26 Programme Cohort Admission is Open Now!
To further advance carbon reduction actions and nurture more young decarbonisation leaders, the 2025-2026 Campus Decarbonisation Ambassadors Programme is now open for registration. For more details, please visit: https://sst.hkfyg.org.hk/en/campus-decarbonisation-ambassador-programme-2025-26/
